摘    要:以中等成熟度的桤木果实和成熟的红桤木种子为材料,统计桤木果实的基本情况,同时测定种子的千粒重,研究PEG在两种桤木种子发芽过程中的作用。试验结果表明:不同果长的桤木种子发芽率差异显著;PEG能显著提高桤木种子的发芽势,提高发芽率的效用与种子的成熟度有关,对成熟度高的种子影响不显著;PEG对红桤木种子的发芽率无影响,但能显著提高幼苗后期的抗水性,PEG浓度越高,幼苗抗性越强。

Abstract:In this paper, the fruit characteristics, the 1 000-seed weight and the impact of PEG treatment on seed vigor were explored based on the investigation of fruits of two alder species, nearly maturity fruit of alder ( A. cremastogyne Burkill ) and maturity fruit of red alder (A. rubra) . The results are as follows: the fruit length had obvious effect on germination rate. PEG could significantly improve the germination energy of alder seed, with its extent relating to the maturity level of seed, no effect of PEG was found on the relative higher maturity seed of alder. However, no significant effect of PEG was found on seed germination rate of red alder, but PEG could help red alder to improve the resistance to waterlogging significantly, and a trend was found that the higher the concentration of PEG treatment, the stronger the resistance.
