Agriculture serves as the foundation of national economy and its sustainable development is significant to social stability and economic development.The key for sustainable agricultural development lies in making a rational and perpectual use of the social and natural resou rcesrelated to agricultural production.During the industralization period,the over squeezing for agricultural surplus and the destructive exploitation of the agricultural natural resources necessitate a stess on agricultural protection.Through various forms and contents in accordance with different industralization stages,a sustainable agricultural growth should be guaranteed.At present,considering the specific situation of China,farmers' self-protection must be given first priority to ensure an expected implementation of the government's agricultural protection policiy and to effectively facilitate sustainable agricultural development.
