| Abstract: | In the traditional farming society,drought or floods have a significant impact on agricultural production,so there are many folk customs of praying for rainy or fine days,one of which is suspending the ＂broom woman for fine days＂ conversely from the eave.How exactly did the ＂broom woman for fine days＂ come into being？There is no unanimous conclusion can be drawn.Based on the former studies,this paper tries to sort out systematically the prototype of ＂broom woman for fine days＂ and its cultural connotation.What＇s more,to explore the variety of folk culture reflected by the folk custom the ＂broom woman for fine days＂. |
