建所40年成果丰硕

介绍了中国农业科学院蚕业研究所建所40周年(1951—1991)来在品种选育,栽桑养蚕技术,蚕、桑病虫害防治,蚕、桑机具改革,提高茧丝质量,蚕业基础理论研究和高新技术开发应用,开展国内外学术交流等方面的丰硕成果,已初步建成了学科门类齐全、专业结构合理的国家蚕业科学研究机构。提出本所蚕业科研工作的今后任务:进一步面向经济建设,面向世界,面向21世纪,推进科技体制改革,发挥本所优势和特色,开拓延伸研究领域,培养一支高水平的科技队伍,为蚕业生产提供更多、更具经济、社会效益的科研成果,为中国蚕丝业的繁荣昌盛作出新的贡献。

GREAT SUCCESSES TO THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FOUNDING OF THE INSTITUTE

This article gives an introduction to the great successes acheved by the Sericultural Research Institute ,Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, on her 40th Anniversary (1951-1991) in various aspects ,namely,in mulberry and silkworm breeding,mulberry cultivation and silkworm rearing technology, mulberry and silkworm pest-and -diseaes control, improvement of sericultural tools, heightening of cocoon filament quality, promotion of applied basic studies and advanced researches of sericultural technology,development and extension of sericultural sciences,and in carrying out domestic and international academic exchanges etc. A nation- levelled sericultural rseearch institution, which possesses complete research subjects and reasonable speciality structure has been tentatively established. Future tasks for the institute are put forward,i, e. ,go further to confront national economic construction,to face the world and the 21st century,push on reformation of scientific system,give full play to the institutes superiority and characteristic,reclaim and stretch her research categories, train her stuft to set up a high-level scientific team ,so as to produce more scientific achievements with much higher economic and social benefits for sericultural production and to, utimately make great new contribution to the prosperity of China's silk industry.
