Injection of pesticides into holes drilled in trees can effectively prevent the occurrence and damage of carpenter moths.Omethoate,Methamidophos and the mixture of the two above achieved good effect,but the mixture was the best.The cure rate of the infested trees was 53.3% after the treatment of injecting once in spring while that rate reached 92.5% after treatments of two injections in late spring and summer respectively.
