水稻优质育种体会及展望

摘    要:水稻育种是玉林市农业科学研究所的传统强项,该所从20世纪60、70年代以来育成了感光型品种“包胎矮”和“包选二号”在华南稻作区大面积推广应用,特别是“十五”以来,该所更加重视广泛收集、利用优异种质资源、采用系统选育、有性杂交和太空诱变等育种手段,选育出的水稻新品种在产量、抗性和米质上都有了明显的提高和改善,共选育出优质水稻新品种15个,并通过广西农作物品种审定。综合多年从事水稻育种工作的体会,分析了广西区优质育种所面临的问题,提出今后水稻优质育种的展望。

Experience and prospect in high-quality rice breeding
Abstract:Rice breeding is the traditional strength of Yulin Institute of Agricultural Sciences. Two photo-sensitive rice varieties (Baotai,ai and Baoxuan 2) were bred and have been widely planted in south China in 1960s-1970s. Especially since the "tenth five-year plan", this institute have been focusing more on the breeding methods of systematic breeding, sexual hybridization and space mutation, etc. As the result,15 rice varieties, which had obvious improvement in yield, resistance and grain quality, were bred by the institute and registered by Guangxi Committee for Crop Variety Registration. This paper analyzed the existing problems in high-quality rice breeding and discussed about the future prospects for breeding high-quality rice variety, with years of experience in the work of rice breeding.
