| Abstract: | Infection by Cryptosporidium parvum has been detected for the first time in cattle and swine in Galicia (N.W. Spain). The organisms were also found in one of 69 sheep examined. Although in most cases the parasite was found in young diarrhoeic animals, its presence in asymptomatic mature cattle and piglets was also detected. |
