Der Einfluß der Schadenerregung des Kiefernspinners (Dendrolimus pini L.) auf das Wachstum eines Kiefern-Jungbestandes

The effects of injuries caused byDendrolimus pini L. on height and diameter growth as well as on mortality of 17 years old Scots pine were examinated in the year of damages and in the two following years. Due to the damages by caterpillars the height growth was reduced to 54% and that of diameter to 45%. The mortality of heavily damaged trees was 50–60% and that of defoliated trees 100%.
