高产杂交水稻特优837的选育及应用

特优837系广西区种子公司利用三系杂交水稻不育系龙特甫A与自选恢复系R837配组而成的高产杂交水稻新品种,2007年通过广西农作物品种审定。特优837植株较高,株型适中,结实性好;2005～2006两年区试平均产量7630.5 kg/ha,比对照特优63增产4.7%。其制种要求：选择适宜的抽穗扬花期;保证父母本花期相遇;科学管理以搭建稳产高产的父母本群体结构;喷施＂九二0＂提高异交结实率;加强生产各环节质量管理,确保种子质量优良等。

Breeding and application of high-yield hybrid rice variety Teyou 837

Teyou 837 is a new high-yield hybrid rice variety which was bred through the cross of CMS Longtefu A and restorer line R837 by the Guangxi Seeds Company.It was registered by Guangxi Committee for Crop Variety Registra-tion in 2007.Teyou 837 is characterized by high plant height,moderate plant type and good fecundity.Average yield recorded in regional trials of 2005 and 2006 was 7630.5 kg/ha which increased by 4.7% compared to Teyou 63（CK）.The requirement for seed production includes the selection of proper flowering period,flowering time coordination amongst par-ents,construction of high and stable yield of parents population by scientific management,timely spraying of gibberellin to increase outcrossing rate,strengthening quality management of production units to ensure good grain quality of seeds.
