| Abstract: | By applying citation analysis method,a survey of citations in the papers published in Journal of South China University of Tropical Agriculture from1998to2002is conducted.The number,distribution,kinds and rate of self-citations are presented.On the basis of Price's index attained through calculation,numerous problems are pointed out and corresponding measures are recommended. |
