| Abstract: | A dog was referred for pancytopenia. Bone marrow biopsy showed hypocellular fatty marrow. Magnetic resonance imaging had a high signal on T1-weighted image in the metaphyseal region of the femur. We suggest that MRI could be a valuable supportive diagnostic method and introduce a strategy of treatment with cyclosporine and azathioprine in canine aplastic pancytopenia. |
