调查研究福州市清朝时期引种的棕榈科古树的树龄、营养生理和生态适应性等,总结这些树种在长周期条件下的生理、生态习性、病虫害等的变化规律及树龄推断方法,为园林应用、林业生产,以及古树的保护、复壮和开发利用提供理论依据。

Ecosystem Adaptability of the Ancient Palm Trees in Fuzhou

An investigation was made of the ancient palmaceous trees introduced into Fuzhou during the Qing Dynasty (19th century) in terms of tree age, nutritional physiology and eco-adaptability. This investigation was aimed to draw a clear picture of the regular changes of physiology, eco-behaviour and pest and disease of the trees under the long term conditions and find a way of mensuration of the age of ancient trees. This will provide theoretical importance to future gardening and forestry as well as the rejuvenation, conservation and utilization of the ancient trees.
