| Abstract: | The present paper dealed with physiological differentiation of causal organism of blackshank (Phytophthora parasitica var. nicotianae) by several biochemical methods: TTZ me-dium and silica gel G chromatograph, combining with the previous results of biologicalpathogenicity, this study further confirmed the suggestion that isolates 8436, 8417 were race0, and 8003, 8423 were race 1. The results were coinceded with that of biologicalpathogenicity and preliminarily ruled out the possibility that the isolate 8415 was race 3,perhaps it was a hyposensitive strain of race 0 or 1. |
