Abstract: | Five fractions differing in their molecular-weight parameters, sorption properties, and infrared spectra were separated using systematic gel chromatography. The principle of the method was described, as well as the procedure of calculating the spectral-luminescence parameters of molecular-weight fractions of organic matter from the relative values of their fluorescence intensities. It was shown that complexation involves fluorophore groups of organic matter and is accompanied by a decrease in the fluorescence intensity with increasing content of bound manganese. The study of the fluorescence spectra at different wavelengths provides more information on the fluorescence properties of different organic compounds in natural materials and opens the possibilities for studying the interaction of humus substances with metal ions and determining the composition and properties of organomineral compounds. |
