The Application of Compound Desiccation Method in Longmen-Zhongxian Natural Gas Pipeline

This article mainly describes how to compound the two desiccating methods,glycol desiccation and blowing the pipeline with dry natural gas to dry a newly-constructed natural gas pipeline,the LongmenZhongxian Natural Gas Pipeline and the principle,operation process and technical points of compound desiccation method.Several desiccation methods most widely used at present time like vacuum desiccation,dry air blowing desiccation and methanol desiccation are also introduced respectively.Take the LongmenZhongxian Natural Gas Pipeline as an example,a feasibility study is made on compounding the glycol desiccation and blowing the pipeline with dry natural gas to dry this pipeline before its commissioning.The suggestion on applying this method is put forward and the desiccation time needed for this pipeline is predicated.
