Gomphrena globosa L.has long flowering period and beautiful flower.It is a good resource for ornamental and beautifying environment,drying,cutting and arranging flowers.Whole grass and inflorescence can be used as medicine,and can be extracted natural edible pigment,volatile oil,inflorescence can also be used for tea drinking.G.globosa L.has values of ornamental,medicinal,health care,food.But at present,it is mostly used for ornamental cultivation,and other application values have not received enough attention.This paper introduced the breeding and cultivation methods of G.globosa L.in detail,including sowing and seedling,transplanting and planting,field management,and summarized the utilization value of G.globosa L.Which can provide reference for its popularization and utilization.
