Effects of Different Concentrations of GA3 on Seeds Germination of Cerasus serrulata

[Objective]The aim was to study the germination rate of Cerasus serrulata seed with the treatment of different concentration GA3.[Method]C.serrulata seeds found in Jizhou were used as experimental materials.The effects of different concentration of GA3 on germination of shelled seeds of C.serrulata after soaking for 24 h and 48 h were studied.[Result]The results showed that C.serrulata seeds were drupe.The seeds with shell had poor water absorption,and the embryo integrity rate was high.When 500 mg/L GA3 was soaked for 48 h,the germination rate of C.serrulata seeds was the highest.Increasing the concentration of GA3 and soaking time could improve the germination rate of the seeds,but too high concentration of GA3 would reduce the effect of GA3 on the seeds germination.[Conclusion]It would provide reference for C.serrulata cultivation and germplasm utilization.
