Abstract: | A 7-year-old Siamese cat had recurrent episodes of pyrexia, anorexia, weight loss and jaundice. There was biochemical evidence of hepatic damage and hyperbilirubinaemia. At necropsy there was catarrhal and fibrosing inflammation of the biliary ducts, gall bladder and pancreas. The lesion was probably a sequel to ascending infection of the biliary and pancreatic ducts. Although this combination of lesions is not uncommon in cats, associated clinical disease appears to be infrequent. |
