| 摘 要： | 本文分析了城市规划与城市地理信息系统及物质城市与数字城市的关系，提出城市地理信息系统建设将对认识城市、合理地规划城市提供支持。基于以上理论认识，介绍了地理信息在资金十分有限的东北老工业城市——本溪的建设及运行方案。

| Abstract: | This paper analyzed the relationship between urban planning and Urban Geographic Information System, and the relationship between physical city and digital city. It showed that the construction of Urban Geographic Information System would support people to know the city and to plan the city reasonably. Then the construction and practice of Urban Geographic tion System in Benxi, which is a very old industry city of Northeast China and has very limited fund, was discussed. |
