两系杂交早稻八两优100的选育与应用

八两优１００是我校新育成的两系法杂交早稻中熟组合，具有高产、早熟、米质优、出米率高、抗性好和制种产量高等特点。１９９７年４月通过怀化地区品审小组认定，１９９８年２月通过湖南省品审委员会审定。该组合的育成填补了我国中熟杂交早稻选育的空白。

Breeding and Application of Early-cropping Two-line Hybrid Rice Baliangyou 100

Baliangyou 100, i.e., Annong S-1/D100, is a newly-developed two-line hybrid rice for early cropping season in the areas of double rice cropping pattern. It is characteristic of early maturity, high grain and milling rice yield, acceptable grain quality, medium pest resistance and high seed production yield. Up to 1997, it had been experimentally planted in an area of about 20 000 hm 2 with a grain yield of around 7.0 t/hm 2, 1.5 t/hm 2 higher than the conventional rice checks with the same maturity. It was released to commercial production in Hunan Province in February, 1998. The cultural management and seed production techniques were also briefly introduced.
