| Abstract: | This paper statistically analyzes the stress signals of a vehicle's frame beam obtained whenthe vehicle travelled on normal roads and on some kind of special test roads and gains thestress amplitude distribution patterns.Then the fatigue lives and failure probability on themormal roads and on the special test roads were computed with the same distribution patternof the resistance index of the material and the same working life and reliability evaluatingmethods,The strengthening factors when the vehicle tested on the special test roads werethen calculated. An analysis and a compare between the two strengthening factors obtainedthrough fatigue life and failure probability were made and the conclusion is that the twomethods are identical and both methods can be used to research the strengthening factor of avehicle which tested on the strengthening test roads. |
