| Abstract: | Quantification theory I is applied to the study of the interrelationshipbetween grain protein content(GPC),grain lysine content(GLC)andgrain protein yield per plant(GPY),on the one hand,and ten qualitativetraits,on the other hand.Mathematical models have been established for theprediction of seed quality by the qualitative traits of the plant:graincolour,uniformity in plant height,spike type,seedling growing habit,uniformity in seed size and some others.It is argued that application ofthe quantification theory to the correlation study of crops traits is feasible,and the methods of its adoption are proposed. |
