摘    要:表观遗传学不仅对理解细胞的生长分化及肿瘤的形成至关重要,还对疾病治疗和农业生产具有重要的实践意义。为更好地理解表观遗传的分子机理,本研究分析了表观遗传学的主要研究主题和趋势。利用文献挖掘对PubMed数据库收录的表观遗传学相关生物医学文献的主题进行提取。通过分析2009—2011年(近期)和1997—2008年(早期)文献中的名词和医学主题词(MeSH),确定重要研究主题和新兴研究主题。结果表明:过去30年中表观遗传相关论文稳定增长,其中miRNA方面的研究论文在近10年增长最为迅速。主要研究领域的名词主题包括protein、cell、gene、expression,主要研究领域的医学主题词(MeSH)包括animals、gene expressionregulation、humans。与新兴主题相关的名词为mtorc1、stemness、srna,而与新兴主题相关的医学主题词为genome-wide association study、gene knockdown techniques、tumor burden。本研究确定的主要研究主题和新兴主题将有助于理解表观遗传的分子机理及其在畜牧业中的应用前景。

Abstract:Epigenetics not only has profound effects in understanding cell growth and differentiation and tumor development,but also has practical significance for medical treatment and agricultural production.To understand the epigenetic molecular mechanisms,we studied the major topics and the recent trends in the research of epigenetics.We have used the abstracts stored in the PubMed database of biomedical literature to extract topics relevant to epigenetics by literature analysis.In the analysis nouns and MeSH from the scientific literature have been used as indication of major and emerging topics over the period 2009-2011("recent") and 1997-2008("past").We found that the literature of epigenetics have become steadily increasing over the past three decades,while papers of miRNA have been rapidly increasing over the past decade.We observed that protein,cell,gene,expression were the major topics estimated by nouns.However,animals,gene expression regulation,humans were the major topics estimated by Mesh.Emerging topics that evolved only in nouns were mtorc1,stemness and srna,whereas emerging topics in Mesh were genome-wide association study,gene knockdown techniques and tumor burden.Through this analysis,we were able to identify topics of major and rapid growth in the epigenetics to aid in comprehension of molecular mechanisms and the development prospect in animal husbandry.
