| Abstract: | An analysis
on growth characteristics of Chinese fir in pure forest and mixed forest of Chinese fir
and Fokienia hodginsii was madeThe results showed that the increments of tree height,
DBH and tree volume of Chinese fir pure forest were similar to mixed forest in the first
4 years,but those of pure forest rapid fell later onCompared with pure forest,tree volume
increased by 7010% when 16yearold,peak growth appeared earlier,peak value bigger and
sustainable time over the fastgrowing period longer in mixed forest |
