| Abstract: | This article reviews in detail the current situation of production and development of wood industrial machinery in the developed countries, and particularly points out the achievements which are obtained in terms of series and varieties of products, dynamic and static characteristics, precision, technical research and development and modernized management. The author also suggests that China is still behind the international level in the production of wood industrial machinery and key problems could be overcome by research which should be coordinated between manufactures, universities and research organizations. |
