Response to a Case of Engaging in Animal Diagnosis and Treatment Activities without a Permit

In April 2020,it was reported to the agricultural and rural bureau of A city that a pet store was suspected of engaging in animal diagnosis and treatment activities without a permit.Upon investigation,it was determined that the illegal facts made by the party concerned were available with conclusive evidences.An administrative penalty of"ordering the party concerned to stop any animal diagnosis and treatment activities,confiscating his/her illegal income of CNY5420 yuan and imposing a fine of CNY 6000 yuan"was imposed on the party concerned according to the provisions of Law of the People’s Republic of China on Animal Disease Prevention.In the paper,the general details,law application and contents of punishment against the case were analyzed,time limit to investigate administrative violations at"continuous state"and establishment of whole process of law enforcement record system were discussed,with a view to providing a reference for administrative law enforcement personnel to deal with such cases.
