Experimental Modal Analysis of a Sports Car Body in White

First,the paper designed the testing hang system of the sports car body in white.Then,it got the frequency-response function of the structure,using experimental modal analysis method.Finally,it got the modal characteristic of the body by the analysis of the response function.Testing results show that the system constructed can meet the precision requirements,and that modal parameters are reliable.The resonant and the local vibration of the body are also analyzed,and the analysis results provide the basis of improving the design for the designers.
