| Abstract: | The susceptibility of the virulent NIA-2 and avirulent Bartha strains of Aujeszky's disease virus to various physical and chemical methods of inactivation was investigated. Both strains were highly sensitive to UV radiation and to various combinations of trypsin concentration and temperature. The Bartha strain was the more thermostable and pH-sensitive. |
