| Abstract: | Astroviruses(AstV)are a group of important pathogens that infect wide variety of species,including human beings,mammals and birds and causes enteritis,nephritis and neurological diseases.However,little is known about the immune responses to AstV infections.With the establishment of cell culture system and animal models,the understanding of AstV infections and pathogenesis has been improved in the recent years.This article reviews the current knowledge of the immune responses to AstV infectiosn and highlights some key issues that have been identifi ed during research practice,which might provide new ideas for disease prevention and control. |
