摘    要:本文概述了世界制材工业现状,从林木资源利用、提高锯材质量、完善加工工艺、开展小径木加工,采用高新技术等方面,介绍和论述了世界制材工业的发展趋势。针对我国制材工业的现状和存在的问题提出了解决对策。

Abstract:Abstract The FAO statistics shows that in the world there are about 200, 000 woodconversion mills. The fellins volume of tmiber in the world is about 1. 4 billion m3, ofwhich about 60% of log must be converted. The annual volume of log thus converted isabout 840 million m3, with about 420 million m3 of sawtimber produced. The authorgives the indicators marking the technical level of wood conversion industry in five fi-elds: percentage of outturn of sawtimber, comprehensive utilization efficiency of wood, labor productivity in wood conversion, specification and quality of sawtiniber, refinedand deep processing. The author suggests that the development tendency of woodconversion industry manifests itself in the following aspects: 1. perfecting the processof production to ensure comprehensive wood utilization; 2. timely innovation of equip-ment and developing new high technology; 3. development of technololgic process towardautomation, optimization and informization; 4. development of the production line toprocess small dimension log; 5. reform of the log-yard, stressing the preparatory workof sawing. In a word, hereafterwards the development tendency of wood conversiontechnology is to actively promote the quality of sawtimber and wood utilization efficien-cy, perfecting the theory of wood sawins and the processing technolosy, improving anddeveloping the new technology of operation with less manual labor and more resourcessaving, and developing new equipment adapt to the application of new technology; push-ins forward the automation and computerization of wood processing and the moderniza-tion of wood conversion industry.
