| Abstract: | The researches on the cytological observation of the sterility of indica japonica F 1 hybrids, the genetics of the compatibility of intersubspecific hybrids and the relation of compatibility to the differentiation of rice subspecies were summarized. The developing trend and some problems in the research of intersubspecific hybrid fertility in rice were also discussed. |
