国家海洋局南海分局基础GIS系统是"数字海洋"南海节点的主要建设成果之一,在南海区的海洋环境保护、海域使用管理、海洋防灾减灾等各项工作中发挥了重要作用。阐述了该系统的建设过程、系统结构、设计原则等内容,论述了GIS系统在分局各项海洋工作中的应用和渗透,并在此基础上,结合信息技术新的发展热点,从技术层面、管理层面深入总结并探讨了GIS系统在海洋行业中的应用和发展思路。

Exploration of the Application of Marine Geographic Information System

Geographic information system of South China Sea branch,state Oceanic Administration People’s Republic of China is a main achievement of the project digital ocean,which has been playing an important role in the field of the protection of marine environment,the administration of sea areas use,marine disaster protection and reduction,etc.In this paper,the development process,the structure and the design principles of the system were discussed.In addition,its application in different braches of state Oceanic Administration People’s Republic of China was described.In combination of new development hotspots of information technology,the application and development thoughts of GIS system were summarized and discussed from the technical and management levels.
