| Abstract: | Summary A method is described of breaking self-incompatibility in Brussels sprouts by mutilating the stigmata during pollination with a brush of which the hair had been replaced by steel wire. The results are similar to those obtained with bud pollination and the method opens up prospects for practical use. |
