Abstract:In order to discover the mechanism of the straw ammoniation,a new technique ofpreparing mirror sections samples for Scanning Electron Microscope has been used.Thetechnique could investigate the cell wall change for same cell,which allowed to donumerical analysis,and avoid the random error.A research was conducted with thistechnique to investigate the cell wall change of corn stovers ammoniated with ammoniumbicarbonate within the ammoniating oven environment.The cell wall thickness has beenincreased by 168.5%in average.
