华南冠网蝽严重危害樟树 ,在湖南省衡阳地区 1年发生 6代 ,以卵越冬。越冬卵 4月上中旬开始孵化 ,成虫 4月下旬出现。末代成虫终现期为 1 2月上旬或中旬。化学防治适期为越冬代若虫期。在早春造林时清除越冬卵可有效控制该虫的危害与传播

Stephanitis(Stephanitis) laudata Drake et Poor seriously damages camphor trees.It has 6 generations a year in Hengyang area of Hunan Province and overwinters as egg.The overwintering eggs begin to hatch in the first or middle ten days of April,and its adults emerge in the last ten days of the month.The adult of the final generation disappears in the first or middle ten days of December.The suitable time for its chemical control is nymphal stage of the overwintering generation.In early spring when foresting,removing the old leaves with eggs can effectively prevent its damage and spread.
