广东沿海地区澳洲坚果风害调查研究

经16年中11次风害调查：澳洲坚果抗风性差，属忌热带风暴作物；10年生前，各品种抗风性强弱依次为；OwnChoice、Kau（344）、Ikaika（333）、Keauhou（246）、Makai（800）。在平均风力低于9级、阵风低于10级、无强热带风暴出现的地区，可选择避风地域配置防护林种植；在平均风力高于9级、阵风达11级、有台风出现的地区，不宜大面积种植。

Wind Damage Investigation of Macadamia integrifolia in the Coast Region of Guangdong Province

Commercial varieties of Macadamia integrifolia were introduced and planted for trial in the South Subtropical Crops Research Institute(SSCRI) and the eastern coast region of Guangdong Province. During the past 16 years,it was damaged by typhoon 11 times. Results of observations showed that the Macadamia nut trees were very susceptible to typhoon, the wind resistance of the varieties in descending order were Own Choice, Kau (344), Ikaika (333), Keauhou (246) and Makai(800). It was recommended that Macadamia nut trees should be planted at the areas where the frequency of typhoon appearing is seldom,and the average wind speed should be lower than 9 force,and the gust lower than 10 force. The windbreak is advisable to be planted for the plantation of Macadamia nut trees. In the areas where typhoon appears frequently, and with average wind speed higher than 9 force, and gust higher than 11 force,the Macadamia is not suitable for commercially grown.
