Abstract:To get the miRNA167a overexpressing transgenic rice plants,we constructed miRNA167a,one member of the MIR167 gene family,under the maize Ubiquitin promoter and transformed the vector into Zhonghua 11 by Agrobacterium-mediated transformation.We identified the single copy transgenic plant by Southern blotting.The miRNA167a overexpressing plants performed varieties of plant architecture changes,such as dwarf,increase in the till angles and decrease in the effective tiller numbers.Further molecular analyses sho...
