Abstract:To select suitable wheat varieties with high yield, strong adaptability and good stability for the cultivation environment in Taizhou area, 20 wheat varieties which were approved by National Crop Variety Certification or by Jiangsu Province and planted in Jiangsu in recent years were taken for field comparison test on correlation analysis of agronomic traits and yield traits of wheat varieties. The results show that the agronomic characters and actual yield of wheat varieties with different genotypes are significantly different, and the yield varies between 5150-7350 kg/hm2, with an average yield of 6095 kg/hm2. The actual yield of ‘Huamai 8’, ‘Ningmai 22’ and ‘Yangmai 27’ have obvious advantages, among which, the actual yield of ‘Huamai 8’ is more than 1200 kg/hm 2 compared with that of other varieties, and the bulk density of ‘Huamai 8’ and ‘Yangmai 27’ are more than 800 g/L. According to the comprehensive performance in field, ‘Huamai 8’, ‘Ningmai 22’ and ‘Yangmai 27’ have better yield, medium lodging resistance and disease resistance, reasonable growth period and outstanding economic characters, and could be widely planted in Taizhou area.
