| Abstract: | This article is a summary of many years of researches carried out in the laboratory of cotton breeding, Huazhong Agricultural University. It covers seven aspects as somatic morphogenesis, factors affecting callus initiation and somatic embryogenesis, plant regeneration, heredity of ability of somatic embryogenesis, biochemistry of cell culture, somaclone variation and its application in cotton breeding. |
