Vibration and Damping of Hand Holder of Portable Forestry Machines

The tests and analyses of the vibration acceleration and the damping factor of some of hand holders and supports of the portable forestry machines are discussed in the paper.The result shows that there are high vibration acceleration and low damping factor at the hand support.To reduce the vibration,the paper suggests that the resistance layer at the hand holder and the machine support be proprely increased.
