The effect of the parameters of a grain drying plant on the quality of drying

A new grain drying plant that allows a reduction in the energy consumption is proposed. The quality of the drying process is considerably influenced by the temperature of the heating surface, the exposure time to the drying, the air velocity and temperature, and the inclination of the plant casing to the horizontal line Γ. Thus, at Γ = 15°, the relation of the germinating capacity of the grain after the drying in the proposed plant to the specific energy consumption needed to evaporate the moisture from the grain is optimal.
