摘    要:研究了原尾蜥虎的个体状态、主要贮能部位水分含量和能值的周年变化。于2009年11月-2010年10月期间逐月捕捉动物,经过测量形态、称重后,解剖分离成去尾躯干,肝脏和尾部3个部分。所有样品经65°C恒温烘干至恒重后,索氏脂肪提取仪测定脂肪含量,微电脑热量计测定能值。结果显示:(1)个体状态在月份间存在显著差异;(2)雄体去尾躯干水分含量明显高于雌体,去尾躯干、肝脏和尾部的水分含量存在明显的月份间差异;(3)雄体去尾躯干和肝脏的能值明显高于雌体,雌体尾部的能值明显高于雄体,去尾躯干、肝脏和尾部的能值存在明显的月份间差异。上述结果表明,原尾蜥虎去尾躯干、肝脏以及尾部的能值的周年变化与繁殖和冬眠以及食物资源等有密切联系。繁殖期适度贮能有利于增加雄体活动灵敏性,提高繁殖成功率;有利于增加雌体繁殖输出,提高个体的适合度。

Abstract:Annual variations of individual condition, water content and energy value in the major energy reserves of the oriental leaf-toed gecko (Hemidactylus bowingii) in Zhaoqing were examined in this study. Samples of the adult geckos were collected monthly from November, 2009 to October, 2010 and brought to our laboratory in Zhaoqing University. The geckos were measured, weighed and freezing-killed at -20 °C, and then separated into carcasses, livers and tails. The three components were dried to constant mass at 65 °C, weighed and frozen-preserved for later determination of composition. We extracted non-polar lipids from dried samples in a Soxhlet apparatus for at least 6 h using absolute ether as solvent, and determined energy value using the GR-3500 oxygen-bomb calorimeter. Our results showed that: (1) there were significant monthly changes in individual condition in both sexes; (2) carcass water content and energy value of three components varied significantly among different months in both sexes; (3) water content of carcass, energy value of the carcass and liver were significant higher in males than in females, but energy value of the tail was lower in males than in females. Our results indicated that annual variations in energy values of the major energy reserves were correlated with reproductive events, winter hibernation and food sources. In the breeding season, proper energy storage is helpful to strengthening the ability of quick movement for the males, whereas it can increase reproductive output and improving fitness for the females.
