Abstract:Under the background of global climate warming caused by increasing concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere,the potential to sequestrate carbon for the global terrestrial ecosystems has received universal concern from the scientists over the world.Grassland possesses the richest vegetation types and plays important roles in both ecological security and carbon sequestration.However,people only pay attention to its capacity for grazing in a long time.The capacity of carbon storage of grassland ecosystem is only lower than forest and it can largely limit the greenhouse emission.
