| Abstract: | There is the introduction on the development of agricultural genetic engineering at abroad and at home, and on its applications in resistance to plant diseases and insects, resistance to abiotic stress, improvement of crop quality and utility of crop heterosis in the paper. We also discuss the safety assessment of genetic engineering products in three special aspects, then give the advices and the ways to solve the problems during the development of agricultural genetic engineering in China. |
