| Abstract: | A new wild Ecuadorian tuber-bearing species ofSolanum,S. serratoris (SeriesTuberosa, Sect.Petota is described and illustrated. This species from the eastern-Andean region of provincia Morona-Pastaza has been named in honor of Dr. Richard L. Sawyer, founder of the International Potato Center, Lima, Peru. |
