| Abstract: | Three kinds of Zeng Guo Ji (chemical for increasing pod yield) were sprayed on peanut plants at early flowering stage to determine their effect on growth and development of plant and pod yield. The results indicated that all the three kinds of Zeng Guo Ji could cause a decrease in plant height and increase in chlorophyll content, photosynthetic rate,number of branches and root nodules. In addition, the pod number per plant, percentage of full pod,100-pod weight and pod yield per hectare were increased obviously. Maximum yield was obtained with Zeng Guo Ji NO. 3 treatment. |
