| Abstract: | This paper is based on the informations gained from the IX World Forestry Congress as well as from some newest periodic literatures. It explains the new trends in the world plantation forestry.The main contents include the scale of afforestation and direction of its development,the choice of species,establishment of mixture stands, quality of seeds and planting stock, silvicultural techniques and their rational combinations,etc. |
