| Abstract: | Mintang 96-1027,selected from the cross(Mintang70-611×ROC10),was a new sugarcane variety with high yield and wide adaptability.The results obtained from cultivation at various sites for several years showed that its mean cane yield was 126.861 t·hm-2.The yield was 12.0% and 9.3% higher than ROC16 and Mintang 70-611,respectively.Sucrose content of the cane(absolute value) in November to January was 14.03%.In Fujian,giving a sugar yield of 17.790 t·hm-2,which was 3.4% and 13.2% higher than that of ROC16 and Mintang 70-611,respectively. |
