西太平洋副热带高压气候特征

利用国家气候中心1951-2008年逐月高度场资料,通过合成分析和小波分析对西太平洋副热带高压面积指数、强度指数、西脊点、脊线位置和北界位置进行诊断。结果表明,从年内变化看,副高位置的变动与北半球太阳辐射变化相一致,峰值出现在8月份;副高强度的变化则呈现出2个峰值,分别为6月和9月。副高强度指数越大,则面积指数越大,西脊点位置越偏西,反之亦然。从小波分析结果来看,无论是副高指数还是脊线位置均存在20年的振荡周期。

Climate Characteristics of Subtropical High in Western Pacific
