| Abstract: | A strain of cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) was isolated from phlox plants raised from imported cuttings and grown in plastic tunnels. The infection was acquired from local sources. Virus identification was based on electron microscopy, host range, aphid transmission, serology and physical properties. |
